Hey everyone! This is Zathura (Professor Beech, Steven, etc.) checking in again. I plan on making some changes around here, basic ones, before I get down and dirty with revamping and updating our roleplaying stuff. Frankly, I'm a little appalled at myself of two years ago. With that said, I will update again shorty.

Last Updated: January 1, 2007 (yes, I am such a loser that I intend for this site to be up for years to come!)

Um, we have members now (and surprisingly many, for the time we've been up), but I still can't resist my, um, relaxedness to write something meaningful...

So, er, welcome to Pokemon Shefir. Don't eat raw sugar.

OMG, there's space now! So now I can actually use all this real estate for something not-fluff.

On this forum, I disdain many of the regular rules on other forums. For instance, I don't care if you bump anything (even if it's months old...however, don't bump something too fast, 'cause it's impolite), if you advertise, etc. Indeed, too many rules on a Pokemon roleplay forum does seem a little out of character...

However, I would appreciate courtesy. I'm not gonna force anyone to be polite, because I hate it when people make you act like you feel one way when you don't. A facade of sincerity does no one good.

So, staff will never intervene in flames. We will simply move it to the Napalm Convention...and watch the fireworks! We gotta get our kicks somehow...

Be warned, though, that being a jerk will make other people dislike you. And if the staff dislikes you, we will work very hard to find something you did wrong and ban you. So being a nice person is good. A full list of our short rules are found here.

Right now, the forum is going through lots of graphical changes. If you dislike them, or just feel like spamming my inbox, you can drop me a line here.

Izumi: Natu or Not to?

Izumi, as happy as can be, went into ROute Two with her new Houndour. She was soo happy he chose to be with her! Now, she entered route two, and hen she ripped and stubld, but didn't fall. She stood up straight and looked into the distance. Oh no.. She was on route two... She then decided to name the Houndour Hellfyre. She sat down and heard something i nthe grass. What could it be?

A natu was pecking around in the tall grasses, aware of Izumi's presence, but was fully confident that it could get away from her had she tried to come after it.

Izumi looked over at the natu pecking o nthe ground. She waited for it too look up. She wanted to smle and wave at it. But Izumi was going to wait. She wanted natu's full attention. She sat there watching the little psycho bird peck at the ground.

The Natu, being psychic and all ( :D ) Was completely ignoring her. It was still busy eating seeds off the ground, paying no attention to the trainer.

Izumi noticed that Natu noticd her and was gnoring her. She did ot like to be ignored. She sent out Hellfyre and told him to use ember. He burned the grass around where natu was so it was a ring of fire. HE then shot a ember out at the natu.

The Natu looked back angrily at the Houndour, upset that it had interrupted it's meal. It turned around and immediately used peck.

Houndour jumped and then shot out embers. He tried to hit it in the directin of where it was going. He landed on his paws and headed with a tackle.

The Natu was growing thoroughly annoyed with the Houndour, and quickly disappeared from view as the fire pokemon tried to attack once more. The Natu had teleported to the other side of the clearing, continuing to go about its business.

Hellfyre landed on its head. It had hit nothing. But he swore he saw the Natu just now. He looked around and saw that it was on the other side of the field. He growled a bit and waied for Izumi's orders. "Houndour, Go and use ember on Heavengayl on the other side of the clearing!" Izumi ordered. He stopped and look at her for a second, pizzled. "Opps, sorry, I was going to name it Heavengayl if I catch it. Well, ember on the natu, now!" Houndour speed across the clearing as fast as he could and used ember, but it was a huge one this time.

The Natu waited until the last second before the flames reached it, and teleported out of view again. This time, it teleported near Izumi's feet, and began pecking along at the ground there. It didn't even seem worried.

Izumi looked at the Natu near her feet. She signaled Hellfyre to stay there. She looked down and tried to pick up the Natu.

The Natu teleported just as Izumi bent over to lift it up, appearing right on her other side. It chirped at her, and went back to pecking.

But, her efforts were to no avail. As soon as Izumi or the houndour tried to catch it, the Natu could just teleport somewhere else. It seemed to be enjoying the game.

Izumi got fed up wth it. "Hellfyrer, Attack on your own free will!" Houndour started to use ember and tackle while izumi was picking up seeds. She had a plan, but Natu maight not fall for it.

The cunning Natu simply teleported every time that Houndour sent out a blaze of flames. It smirked slightly, if such an expression was possible to show, easily appearing opposite the Houndour when it was attacked again.

Izumi finally collected enough seeds for her plan. "Hellfyre, cease fire!" Izumi said. Hellfyre stopped immediately. "Here Natu... Here Natu!" Said Izumi, taunting the little birdy. SHe was hoping to feed it some seeds and gain its trust.

The Natu looked up at Izumi, and saw the seeds she had in her hand. Taking them from her would be much easier than trying to find them on its own, so it toddled over to her.
